ok, I never watch IRL events, mostly because I truly despise oval racing.

But, I'll watch the Indy500, mostly just because all my other motorsports fan friends do. So, I tune in this morning and I have to say that this rain delay bullshit is a joke.

In ANY other form of racing they readjust the setups, toss on a set of rain tires, and SLOW THE FUCK DOWN.

I don't get it, racing in the rain can be really fun to watch, and part of motorsports ( in my mind) should be a battle with the conditions as well as yourself and the other drivers.

Anyway, MAYBE they'll take a couple hours to DRY the track if it stops raining in time, LOL!

What a waste of time. Oval racing is of the ghey.

I agree...that's why I won't waste my time watching the Indy 500...rather watch real racing like the Grand Prix of Monoco.

dude, I wish I could get decent coverage of anything other than NASCAR here.

check it, starting about 2 years ago we started losing coverage of FIA Rally, SPEED coverage of F1 got scaled back, NASCAR has 5 reality shows and their own suite of channels on cable.... makes me sad to live here.

I just wish I could get some FIAGT3, maybe some different euro open-wheel, or maybe an F1 race live... anyway, end rant.

The reason why they wont race on rain is bc they are averaging over 200mphs. I cannot stand oval racing either, but this race hasnt been bad. Very competitive (only 3 teams have a shot at winning: Andretti Green, Chip Ganassi, Penske).

wanna watch some good racing, tune to SPEED tomorrow, monday at 3, Rolex GT racing. watch for car 28, thats our car. and hopefully it rains, cause our driver is crazy nice in the rain.
