Ok I have a tri mode antenna on the roof of the avant...so what is on the rear...

drivers side window. I origionally thought it was a defroster but there isn't one on the other side. I was thinking maybe it was the antenna but why would i need another one? Any one know?


Also what is tri-mode? AM, FM and CB? Cellular?

cellular, AM/FM would be my guess...its special.

I would guess it to be the normal bi mode AM/FM antenna that comes standard on the car. Your car had the cel phone option? I would guess,, so you get a different antenna. The standard rear glass one is probably not connected. That would be my guess anyway. Or it is used for AM/FM and the one on the roof is for cellular/PCS,, and in reality the "tri-mode" is really 2 seperate antennae? If I get a chance I will check my Bently manual and see where your wires go. What year your S?

Anyway yeah it's an 01.5 The spec sheet says a roof mount trimode antenna. But there is definately one over there in the rear drivers side window.

hey at least I know it went to someone that is going to treat it the way it was ment to be treated...mod the hell out of it

I already did the fog mod(without breaking anything), tint, boost gauge, and short shifter.
