My R8 Experience (22 Pics + Short Video!!!)

So I'm online yesterday and my buddy imed me telling me that my local dealer has a full Euro spec R8 (not street legal, not for sale, for show) I didn't believe him at first. Call my dealer guy and he says they do and I should come check it out. I got down expecting to just look at the outside and cry over it haha. He grabs the keys says we cant drive it Audi isn't letting anyone drive this one since its not legal. But he lets me get in the drivers seat mess with the buttons play with the radio then has me get out and stand behind as he starts the 4.2 V8 right on the showroom floor and revs it up causing EVERYONE to look in the dealer. People just kept talking about how awesome it was and I agree, I really like it but at $125,000 Price tag i will have to pass for now haha.

I think that is the "tour car" which first arrived at Champion in Florida a while back. Funny thing is someone was driving the hell out of it with the suspension blocks still installed, and they fucked up the front suspension bad. They had to replace alot of crap. Even if that car was for sale AND I had the money I still wouldn't have bought it!

Very nice car! I drove 1 last week with my father. It's so close to what you experience in a 997 carrera 4. They have done a great job at audi! One hell of a competition for porsche.
My father loved it so much that he orderd it. Only thing is he has to wait somewhere between 8 and 10 months.
