They're only 23.6 pounds... Hit/Skip? Or should I powdercoat my 19" Flik Justices (sitting in the garage off my sold B5) Silver? The Justices as they stand are also in my gallery. I'd love 20"Sportecs w/ a lip, but too much $$. I like the Fliks better in 19" than Sportec in 19"

I'll put them on this weekend if I have a chance and post a photo. They are painted gunmetal right now and they don't look terrible, but the RS4 reps on the car now look much cleaner.

Point well taken. I really like those BBS CK's in that you've got as well... I've seen it in Anthracite and I love 'em.
Plus, I am an industrial designer, So I'm thinking of designing my own wheels for my Avant and having them made with the help of my buddy's engineering firm... It may not cost much more than a top-end wheel would, and then I could sell the design or have myself a little side business... [cool]

IMO 20s look pretty bad on avants. Takes away from the classy look and turns it into a super customized rice burner image. You'll be on permanent pot-hole duty as well...

Your points are valid, but the ride seriously isn't as bad as I thought it would have been. The roads up where I live are OK but not perfect, and given the tire pressure (38psi) gives a good ride, not excessively harsh at all. I figure with 20" you should be fine if it is a high quality wheel like BBS, iForged, DPE etc.

Thanks for the compliment. I did a photoshop on my car to see what a black CK would look like and it seems to be alright...I might entertain the idea of powdercoating them satin black, as opposed to the lighter anthracite finish that BBS offers.

OK, I put my gunmetal Flik Justice's on. It doesn't look half bad; I think I'll still get them powdercoated some shade of silver.

But damn if the Fliks don't look a heck of a lot meaner, now that I look at the three different versions side by side, and the tires I have on the Fliks are so much better. Thanks for the compliments, guys. Even the service coordinator at the dealership commented on the new look. I just wish the Fliks didn't didn't weigh 27 pounds. Oh well, time for some performance mods...[wrench]

What suspension are you running?? Also we need some outdoor pics of that bad boy!!!!!!!

I have "Tein Basic" coilovers that came with the car. They're set too low to be user-friendly where I live... actually its a downright PITA.
I'll planning on raising the fender height about .5" to 1" as soon as PO sends me the wrenches, or put stock Sport susp. back on and save for some higher-end coilovers with adjustable damping and rebound.

They were on my B5 before... I think the gunmetals look good on white, silver, grey, and black. Maybe that hibiscus red as well.
