i've got a hunch that you might be able to find one in the for sale section or on ebay.

I have the same question...its a hassle finding someone you trust enough to perform the paint job not to mention most shops don't want to mess with such a small job. And $200+ for a painted M3 Lip is high IMO as well.

I figure $100 - $150 painted and shipped at the most....But then again thats just me. Anyone have ideas?

uhhh, you are never gonna find that deal. the spoiler itself costs over $100 for the OEM piece. you might be able to find a replica for cheaper but if you want the real deal its gonna cost you.

I didn't think 235 painted was bad, but JHousyS4 gave me doubts.

Wasn't there just a group buy with it for $50 primmed...So to paint that small of a piece it costs $200? That just seems a bit much...thats what I based my comment on.

It was 50 bucks not primed. Most shops will charge you 50 dollars or so to paint it unless you go to one of those pyscho shops that want to paint the spoiler and then do so much other crazy stuff to it. A good paint job should run no more than 75 dollars.

Lets have a group buy on painted M3 Lip Spoilers. Ebay has them primmed - for 30-50 bucks. I anit gonna pay more than 100 for a painted. I find it rediculous.

Guys,

We sell the OEM BMW E46 lip spoiler, not a cheap knockoff on Ebay. If you want to pay $50 or $100 for a painted spoiler you will not get OEM quality. Whether that is important or not is up to you. We are in the business of selling parts for medium to high end cars and typically those customers demand the best product available to fill their requests.

The M3 spoiler sells at prices as high as $157.50 through BMW and that is an UNPAINTED price ! We buy ONLY OEM spoilers and pay about $75.00 (depends on quantity) for a quality paint job that meets our standards. We cannot risk inferior work as we are sending out painted parts all over the country.

If enough people were interested, we would re-run a group buy we did in the past at $200.00 per spoiler (painted) and we can do all colors except pearl white (must be done on the car as it is extremely hard to match). Email us at sales@avalonmotorsports.com if you are interested.
