Man, Ive been waiting for this for too long.
Cruising with my friend out on Sunrise highway in Long Island where I ran into a stage 1 SRT-4. Ive been wanting to race one of these cars for such a long time. I got his attention with a spool in 5th and then release (he heard the pshh from the DV.) He went for it, we fly at around 90 or so until we come to a light. I rev up to 4800rpm, the magical launch Rpm for my car, wait for the green, and immediately on the launch I put 3 cars on him, I run through the gears, hes very slowly reeling me in, and catches me at 95 where we let off due to a sweeping turn. Roll down the window, ask him to pull over. Very cool guy, he had a intake done on the car, as well as some software and a few other minor things. Stock exhaust. He had summer tires on, (though it was 70F outside[rolleyes] ) he said that he was spinning in 2nd as well. I had him pretty badly to 60mph, just after 60 he really started reeling me in. I got some extra cash that my friend owed me. FMIC sometime this week FTW!
