Anyone gonna have a VAG tool at Waterfest?

i wanna do the remote window control mod dealie and i need a VAG tool to do so. will somone have one at Waterfest that i could use for a couple minutes?

I am bringing mine. Unsure of the process of the window/remote mod (have yet to do it on my car) but if you link me to the tech article or whatever I will save the page onto my laptop.

I am registered for Exhibition for both Sat. and Sun and I am also at Hotel #4. Shouldn't be to hard to track me down, most likely I will be the only Cactus Green A4 with an OEM Rs4 bumper there (but who knows?).

If so, and someone will be there that knows how and will bring a vag, PM me...I'll be there sat and sun exhibition.

i think wit the b5's its a relay mod.. u have to do something with the fog relay..

You need to remove the small relay above the glove box and do some rewiring. Easy to do but no vag involved. I need to vag my car also.

I'll have my vag-com also, and have done the recoding to a good hand full of cars in the area. It takes all of a minute once you're connected to the car. I'd suggest 16232

so yu'll know how to do it? thanx a lot man. also can someone gimme a hand gettin my ECU out or wutever i need to do to get it chipped? i'm gonna have AWE chip my car there. and quickly, i almost always put 93 in my car, but if i get the 93 octane chip, will it be hamful to my car if i ever put 91 in? like in case i need to use a gas station that doesn't have 93.

If anything the car would pull timing and knock if you push on it. Getting the ECU out is very easy, as long as you have the right tools to get the box open.

Side question...I have issue...my CEL came on this afternoon...any issues with driving it to WF? its not flashing.. any one here willing to scan my car?

what tools would those be?

I think it's an 8MM socket that you need to take the ecu box screws out. Then a flathead screwdriver will pop the metal braket off that hold the ecu down. Other than than AWE will have the key to open your ecu of course.
