I recently purchased a black on black 2004 Audi A8 from a dealer in IL - and I LOVE THIS CAR. Anyway, it has 42k miles and is in really good shape. I bought it over the internet and didn't get to check out in person. The CARFAX was clean - but that's as thorough as I got. The nav DVD was scratched and I think I'll need to replace that. Also, the MMI console was a little sticky and was cleaned out by the dealer.

HOWEVER, maybe every ten starts or more, I'll turn the key and nothing happens - car does not turn over. I thought at first this was a safety feature and I was doing something wrong - but that is not the case. I took the car into the dealer (still under warranty) and they did 35k mile maintainance, but could not find out anything wrong. No code banks or anything.

Has ANYONE else experienced this problem? And can ANYONE tell me what I may be able to do to prevent this in the future? I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks
