If you have the dough for the parts, the install is easy.
I was thinking to get a navi but I have the single-DIN radio.
So I need to many new parts. When you have the symphonie radio, I guess all that you need is the navi.

dude, that looks awsome. I am interested in doing that. How much did tha all cost(including parts)? Do you have the 6 disc changer? What is that opening above the Nav screen, looks like a place for a CD? if it is, is it funtional?

BuffysRS4
07-02-2004, 01:48 PM
Audi_A4_Quattro: all in all about $1300 give or take, yeah I have my original changer and the slot above the nav screen is for nav discs only no audio cds in there, keep your changer to listen to cds

Looks VERY GOOD!!! Love it. Of course, I don't have a need for it, as I can take my laptop w/ me anywhere I go though.

Sweet mod! I wish Audi made a center section w/o cutouts. Then I would change my head unit. I have an Alpine unit from my previous GTI that's just begging to go in there...

Later,
Mike

I'm not familiar with all the functions of the Nav screen, but can you play DVD's on it?

BuffysRS4
07-03-2004, 11:17 PM
Audi_A4_Quattro: yeah if you get the an a/v box that will connect to it then you can pretty much attach any device to that to view through the screen (DVD player, PS2, XBOX, etc.)
