I just lowered my car with eibach pro kit springs. Thought the fronts would settle some more but the gap from front to back is quite uneven. 1.5 fingers in the back, 3 fingers in the front.

I noticed a lot of guys with eibachs in this forum have a nice even gap. Any suggestions?

I'm running stock suspension, but it was my understanding that shocks don't determine ride height. My mechanic checked the road to body clearance height and it was even all the way through.

Anyone know the ground to wheel well height of a stock avant with non-sport suspension? I forgot to measure mine.

How long has it been since it was installed? You should let it settle.

about 1 week. i thought it would settle .25". especially the front but i've heard many different opinions on this. some say eibach has no settling!

it has to settle due to weight (engine) and tension from car. Every car I've lowered settled after few hundred miles. Give it some time bud.

is the ride much stiffer comparing to stock?

the ride is really good. I'm running 18s with bfg kdw2 tires and the ride is very similar to stock. i running the stock non-oem suspension still and the ride is not as floaty as i assumed it would be. less body roll is noticeable.
