FYI

I didn't see these on the manual so I'm posting it up. A lot of you probably already know about the roll up / down windows from the remote but other don't so here you go....

I was messing the the car alarm remote and notice if I press down the unlock key from the alarm remote and hold it down, it will start to roll down the windows till I let go. I can open all the way down if I hold the button down longer. If I arm the car and hold botton it will start closing the window till I let go. If I hold it longer the all the windows and sunroof will close.

you must have bought the car from someone that already vagged it. it does not come from the factory as so. only in other countries.

i wish it came like that stock. regardless, its a nice feature to have. i use it once in awhile

Hey Ansen, mine only works half the time for some reason. [confused]

No big deal, only use it rarely.

Bad reception, mine too

Bad reception, and I think the battery in the key fob is junk. It wasn't made to be held on.

My wife's mom has a honda accord, and she can roll the window down from like 20-50 feet away, on the factory remote...

Definetly had been Vag'd before. Not a stock thing.

That's the first thing I recoded when I bought my VAG-com [:)].

Here's the codes if anyone needs them. You can customize it how you want. I got rid of the annoying horn noise when arming the alarm.

there's a stock option to roll down the windows if put the key in the door and turn it to the left and hold it. it also unlocks the door. you can roll up the windows just by doing the opposite.

I'd love to get that done to mine. Dealer wouldn't do it the one time, they were told by Audi that they can not perform this due to safety reasons.

It's a 2001.

I guess I got lucky. What I do hate about my alarm is I get a lot of false alarms when my window is open. I don't know if the motion sensor is to sensive?

That always happens to mine, the alarm is so sensitive. The alarm will go off if the window is even cracked a little. You can turn the motion sensor off with the little button by the drivers seat. My widows all roll down when I put the key in the door and turn it... like A4 Andre's.

Yeah, that's normal. The motion sensor is sensitive to wind gusts. I've seen that in aftermarket alarms too.

it's your pocketbike in the trunk that's triggering the sensor [;)] [:D]

i believe josh already did the windows thing long time ago, nice... that's why he charged you more just for that mod hehe..

Was this only on certain years? I can roll my windows up like you explain, but I have tried on several occasions to roll them down this way and it doesn't work. I have a '96 (pre-vaggable < new word as of now [cool] ).. Is that why?
