Oh......****ing......shit. I....don't even know what to say. It's..........beautiful. Now, I thought that these things couldn't be DOT approved or something? And thats why we don't see more of them in the US.

Damn. That car is unbelievable. There is one in Aspen that I see sometimes. The guy that owns it is retired military and brought it back from Germany. Absolutly amazing car. I'd rather have an RS6 avant though.

This happens all the time on ebay. They automatically select auto without giving you a choice sometimes. Not sure why but i see it a lot on there.

Yeah, seriously that stearing wheel is weak. Its the same as my non-sport 1.8t, except for the radio controls. That navi-plus system is hot though.

Only around 7000 miles! Check out the car behind it in the 6th photo. Looks like one of those sporty looking new Bentleys.

Nope. Audi knew better. Don't all North American RS6's (450hp) have Tip (which is not the semi-manual version like BMW's SMGII or Ferrari's, but basically an auto box with torque converter). At least it has a Sport mode if you want it to shift by itself. You'd think Audi would know better [;)] but I'm told performance is still spectacular.

once you have ridden in one, you know why they aren't manual. The one i got a ride in had a full MTM exhaust and a chip, he was pushing somewhere north of 500hp. With the torque, the speed and how fast all wheel drive hooks up in that car, you almost coundn't shift it if you wanted to. Thats why it's a tip. Those cars are georgous, absolutely, but im sure ill have no problem with saying that here.

Ridiculous. I want one. My favorite non-exotic car. There are a ton of expensive rides in the background. I see a Porsche turbo and an SL55 AMG.

they might have had to change the wheel for DOT regulations... but don't quote me on that..... all the other rs4's i've seen had the alcantara three spoke wheel

I've been noticing that on the factory RS4 wheels, the center cap is set in about 1" or so from being flush. But on the RS4 reps, it doesn't look the same. Are the reps you find on like ebay, and the wheel stores online made without that indent of the center cap or.......... ??? Anyone confirm this? Maybe i just haven't seen a rep at the right angle or something.

there are some pretty "funny" replies in here but..
your's is pretty up there, no offence JMG..
30-40k for this? people would be bidding like mad my friend.
i have heard from a good source that his reserve is 100k.. its a bit high but, at 7k miles and dot cleared.. its at least worth a solid 80-90k.
beautiful car.. my dream car for years. i agree, pretty strange for him to have a 4spoke and that shift knob.. although, i have been looking for one of those older knobs. anyone have one they want to get rid of or know a part number on one with a 5spd pattern on it?
word.

yes reserve is at $100k. I don't think he will get it though, maybe if he would have tried before the b6 S4s came out and b5 resale value dropped. I think 75-80K is a fair price for it though.
