I just want to know what you think of Glenmore Audi. I found them to be the most useless dealership that I have ever come across and the most expensive. They wanted $79.95 for synthetic oil change and $39.95 for rotating tires. I was at the dealership yesterday and wanted them to VAG my car to autolocking and windows up and down using remote control, the service adviser has no ideas that can be done!!! WHAT??? Do they even know their own products??

Also, I would like to hear what's your take on your dealership.

My dealer said Audi Dealerships were told not to do the VAG for windows by the remote because of safety reasons. I tried to have them do this and another when my car was in the one time and the service manager would only do the one.

As for synthetic, that's about right. They charge 20 for labour, ~10 for filter, then oil. Dealer will obviously mark up oil, so if you want go to your local store and pick up the oil you want. Dealers use Castrol Syntec, 5W30, and take it. They will put it in for you, saving you 25 bucks since the oil can be bought at Canadian Tire for about 30 bucks with tax.

Oil changes in my Jetta TDI are between $100-120 depending which dealer...80 bucks is a steal! [:p]

I'd love to get my windows to work with the remote. If the VAG-COM works for both my cars, it might be worthwhile to get it!!?
