The A5 brochure says that the 3.2 manual will have a "New close-ratio six-speed manual" transmission. Does anyone know anything about it?
It also says 6.1 seconds for 0-62.

Can't find it in my brochure.
But the 3.0 TDI has something new (for AUDI) an 'overboostfunction' in the high revs (for a short period extra power and performance). [up]

Not happening any time soon. The autobox coming in the A5 is the crappy Tiptronic.

I hope DSG makes its way into the B8 platform sometime. If not I'm gonna be really disappointed.

so no DSG in the A/S5 ?????
I was hoping the buy the B8 S4 with the DSG trans, but if it's not happening in the A/S5 I doubt it will in the S4. Too bad, since BMW confirmed a DSG-like transmission for the new M3 (to be released soon), if they can do it I sure hope Audi will do it. Otherwise, shame on them.

Longitudinal S-Tronic will not be available at A5 launch. As for the B8 S4, who knows if the gearbox will be ready then?
