A8 2007 Front shape

Hi all, my first post :-)

I've got a quick question: A friend of mine was recently asking me if it's possible to replace the front shape with an 2006/2007 front shape. We putted our cars side by side and honestly i can't see any reason why this shouldn't work for him. Can anybody confirm (or even did this) please? With Frontshape i mean the chrome shape infront of the car (with the audi rings) which goes below the license plate with the new models. I'm assuming it's an 2004 year model what he has. (The back look exactly as my back however...)

Any suggestions, comments?

You're talking about replacing the front grille with the new style?

I believe it has been done, but it would require the new grille and new front bar as a minimum. I'm sure someone else will be able to shed some light on exactly what is involved and what parts are required.

yes it can be done. there is a whole conversion that lltek sells

Ok, just called the vendor. About $1100 for the whole set. However you need to paint the new bumpers as well. So professional done that sums up to prolly $1500 in case somebody else was looking for this option as well.
