View Full Version : behind an RS6 today..

I was getting a drink at BK on the way home today and I was behind a Santorin blue, i believe that was the color, RS6. Good lord. I think I feel in love. The widebody on that car is unbelievable, that car is virtually flawless. The one true grip i have is that taillights. Why are they colored yellow on the top? They should be clear or red! My 00 1.8T is yellowless reflector and it doesnt even have the sport package. It was a 50 year old plus woman driving the RS6 as well while eating BK inside of it...that is gripe number 2...doesnt really fit the driver profile / cleanliness of interior profile to me.
Other than that I loved the tone of the exhaust, so serious. I was hanging out the window in joy as she moved from window 1 to window 2.
Just wanted to voice my opinion...any one else have gripes or joys of the RS6? Anyone been fortunate to drive this beast??
Yes I realize this is in the wrong forum but I want to see B5 owners, like myself, views of the RS6.

If I had the money, I would NOT be in the B5 forum =P RS6 is THE car (I would probably change the rims though)

Yeah i have seen them, that car is beast, the sound tells it all- don't mess with me.

I was at a track day with 2 of them both owned by old guys but some instructer got behind one and wow. they sound soooo nice ive been told they are like bulls big and fast as hell. i followed one around for a few laps and on the straights bye-bye theyre impressive

One pulled up to my dealership and I couldn't keep my mouth closed. The guys were looking at a Phaeton. Guess they were just killing time.

yes it was a darker blue, i believe it was santorin blue.

yah i saw one yesterday, it was brand new...kinda looked like a silver blue color...gorgeous.....i even took a pic of it with my camera phone...

They are gorgeous machines. Exhaust sounds soooo good.
My brother in-law has one. Car is beautiful. No gripes here. About an hour after he bought, he tells me to drive it. The car is insane. Crazy fast. It makes our cars engine seem child like. Love the alcantra headliner

its mugello blue and they come in a variety of stock colors and individual colors

There are a few that I see cruising around my neighborhood every so often. It's always soccer dad's and old corporate execs behind the wheel, and they launch it like a geo metro, but they sound awesome, and the styling is definately one of my favorites. so agressive. [:D]
