My favorite years were the '06-'07 with the new grille and more aggressive headlights. I was seriously considering picking one up, but for an Sti @ $35k, I was open to other options. It's too bad the new ones out now are looking so hideous, and that they opted for the hatch option. I was pretty upset to see the unveiling. Now, the Legacy GT is the best looking car Subaru makes. Ugh.

I totally agree on both statements... the 04-05' STi's defintitely look more like a RALLY car, which is what the car is supposed to be. I just got the June '07 edition of Road & Track, and was reading the article while on the John... I my state of utter awe & confusion, I almost used the cover page to wipe my ass...

The EXO X definitely looks a lot better (and is more of a threat than ever!).

It looks like they tried to copy the Mazdaspeed 3 but did it poorly. The original WRX had sharp lines, and a muscular-ish look. this thing looks like a Daewoo hatchback...just bigger and with a hoodscoop.

Kinda reminds me driving a phone booth or even a Pontiac Aztec with a crap load of power. But most off all it is just so damn ugly... its hurting my eyes[=(]
