Hey Guys I was wondering if you can help. See I have a 2000 Black Audi S4 and on Friday afternoon someone broke into my car, stole my radio etc and then key'd my car. What kind of A** would do that. Anyhow I took it to the body shop today and they told me that my whole car needed to be repainted. So I have a choice...do I stick with black or do I go to a different color like Nogaro Blue? What other colors look nice guys? If you have any pics of you S4 please post it. Does anyone have the color code for the Nogaro Blue on the S4's. If so please let me know what it is because I really love that Nogaro Blue. Again let me know what you guys think.
PS. My insurance covers it all. Thank GOD.[:D]

Sorry to hear about all that. I've heard from multiple people that if you paint a car a different color than its original, unless its done right, it will decrease the value of the car. Not sure if it's true, but check into it before you do anything nuts... but you gotta love nogaro ;-)

I feel your pain, well partially. A few weeks ago someone keyed the right side of my car. [mad]

Changing the color of the car if not done right can be a bad idea... especially if you ever decided to sell the car. The buyer will automatically think *accident*

I'd got with a tripple black that BMW used a few years ago, that was an awesome black.

If you did the change the color... Porsche Graphite/Dolphin color grey would be super sick, and keep in touch with those German roots.

i say go w/ Nogaro Blue!!

but.. wait, u're in Chicago..

u probably should stick to black since

you don't want ur car to catch people's attention too much

otherwise those assholes might try to break in again..

Yeah you might want to check the difference in price between repainting the whole car the same color and repainting it a different color. YOu have to think about the engine bay and the insides of all the doors and trunk and sunroof and many other areas. Those wouldn't be repainted if you got the same color and they all require a lot of masking or dismantling your entire car.

Hey guys I called the body place and they told me that it would cost a little more to get the whole body colored...the doors , trunk, sun roof etc. I probably won't do the change so I will end up going with the black color again. I wanted to thank all of you for getting back to me so soon. I will keep everyones thought in mind so again I want to say thank you.

PS: Hell yeah I saw the game against France. HAHAHA Today we play again so wish the Greek players good luck. Thanks again

if u paint it a different color, the engine bay and other not so obvious parts of the car will remain black. when u go to sell it, any person in their right mind would get suspicous as to wut happened to the car. yu're better off just stickin with the original black color so as no to decrease the value of the car hardcore

nogaro is hot, but it attracts a lot of attention, and sometimes attention is not necesarily good. either way, I still love my nogaro!
