My clutch feels like it doesn't hold much power anymore...
And engages a bit slower than it used to...
So, does this mean the clutch is on its way out ? (dumb question)
What can I do to prolong the life of my clutch....until I can save uP?
Go back to stock clutch or aftermarket (for daily and light agressive driving) [:D]

The real way to test is to go out on the fwy and floor it in 5th gear.. If the revs go up faster than the mph do, then your clutch is toast.. [:D]

As far as prolonging it's life, all you can do is baby it to minimize the wear you put on whatever grip you have left on the surface. Launch using the lowest revs possible, ride the clutch as little as you can, and rev match whenever possible.
I'd say go with something different than stock when you replace it. I hated the stock clutch.

Sachs is very good. If you plan on keeping your stock flywheel, get the clutch changed out soon. The more you drive on that bad clutch, the worse that flywheel is gonna get.

So, what was the verdict with the $$ vs. longevity of an aftermarket clutch kit?
