Does anyone know how I can find the part number for the brake pads for my A6 2.7T? The dealer wants $700.00 [eek]
Knowing that 2.7Ts have different brakes than most other Audis I wonder if it is as simple as changing any other brake pads.
Ideally I'd like to get something that is as dust free as possible. I see options such as PBR that have ceramic brake pads and other brands like Pagid, Akebono...
This is a daily driver.

Thanks!

$700???? Are they sure they are checking price on the correct part?

Yoru A6 2.7T has the HP2 front setup; same as B5 S4 2.7T and A6 4.2.

Pagid RS4-2-1 blacks are great, esp for street/some track;

Pagid front pad set for B5 S4/A6 2.7T/V8; 8pad set w/ sensor
$112/front set for you + s/h.
In stock, ready to ship, no sales tax.

LMK how we can help.
