CA gas price is now the highest in the country, passing Hawaii which used to be the highest and they get 92 octane.

Might as well start buying 100 octane for $4.99

Ahaha you never know man....gas used to be like $0.25 a gallon.
although I am sure c16 would go up relative to regular gas

Well about 4 years ago C16 cost about $8/gallon, so as you can see the price of C16 is actually going up faster then pump.

Your 89 is still better then our 91 and our 87 cost more then your 93.

BTW how is 92 and 89 octane a waste, when 90% of the cars dont need to run on the 92+. If you want to save some money you can load up a 91 octane file from GIAC and run on your 87-89 octane.

maxspeed
04-17-2007, 10:15 PM
i was just fuckin around lol...

but how is our 89 better than your 91?

Take your 89 octane and then piss in your tank, now you know what we pump into our cars. Its this thing called "west coast" emissions.

yeah im actually now jealous of everyone else. lol the Bay Area is the highest priced and we have it the worst from everyone getting 'smug' off their own farts (referring to the south park episode) LA is pretty bad, but all of Cali is expensive. you guys are all "lucky" for paying $2.xx for 91/93. lol

gas is still relatively cheapest it has been in history if you actually factor in inflation. Maybe compared to last decade its going up (not by much probably) but, its definately cheaper than whenever it was .25 cents a gallon and so on.
