View Full Version : my trip to Miami was a disaster!!!!not really!!!

well on my way to miami on thursday, i was with my girlfriend, my dog, and obviously my car, we where driving snging and chit-chatting, when booooommm. i stopped and went to look what had happen and :

changed the tire to the spare tire, and around 30-35 miles later, booooommmm AGAIN. my spare tire desintegrated. brand new, never been used. i was going at little less than 60 mph.

everything was arround 8:30pm and less than 50 miles from were we were going.
didnt get there til about 1:00 am. and i have to wake up early (4:00 am) to go to Army Drill in Ft.Lauderdale.

it sucks. it was just not my day.
well there you go this is just one part of the story i wanted to share with you all, the bad part. Look out for my other thread about the good part.

This is why you should always have a full size spare tire if you plan on doing long drives late at night. Those little spare tires are only good to get you to a local tire shop to replace the blown tire.

P.S. It looks like your wheel is rubbing up against the wheel well. You should look into that. It might be eating / damaging the wheel a little.

Damn that is some bad luck. I also have the donut, I have my old wheels in my basement but don't want to put it in because of the weight haha.
