Decisions...

I got a 97 A4 2.8QM with 42K miles for 10 grand. Green with gray interior. Sunroof, sport steering wheel ect..


and a 99.5 1.8TQM with 90k miles for 12 grand. Santorion Blue with gray intererior no sunroof, cracked back window, but all the major service was done. Tb, control arsm well everything that it needed was done.

Which one would you buy???


I'm planing on doing little mods like exhaust, chip, and some other miscellaneous stuff.


What do you think. The 97 one looks so clean and nice but its 2.8. Ugh... i got a hard decision to make.

I would skip both of them also. If you are gonna get a 2.8 get a 98 or newer.

alright thanks a lot. The only thing that attracted me to the 2.8 was low miles. and the 1.8 was the color of the car. but yeah ill skip.

1.8T sounds kinda high, i gotta a killer deal on mine. so keep on looking, heres what i have.
2001 1.8T Fwd Tiptronic Sport with 57k for 12,900. that with new boots, shafts and other new little stuff.

How did you find the 01 for so little? I have a 99.5 1.8TQM with 41k for 17k(after tax/license)

I got my 2001 1.8TQMS with 35K for 17K plus tax & tags. It all depends on the seller really. Some dealers price to move, others go with the max price, and private sellers are all over the place. It's just a matter of how much looking you want to do and what you are willing to settle for really.

skip both... 97 2.8 isnt worth the money and the 1.8 is over priced

yea it takes time, i looked around for a year at all kinds of cars... mainly audi and found the deal.

after time a came across the deal on ebay, called the guy and worked out a deal, after tax and licesning it was about 14k. I was lucky to get a great clean car with no hassle for a great price.
