you could put it into "N" rev it to red line and SLAM it in to "D" and you will eather hear wheel spin, or a loud banging/ slaming, crashing sound from your transmition... eather way it will be cool to watch, so film it [:p]

Thats how you do some serious rental car rallying [drive]

I get wheel spin fairly often if I jump on it too hard of the line and sometimes from a roll upto some pretty decent speeds.

Two things to consider though. My car is full stage 3 and I have about a 2900 stall converter.

Is that the IPT converter? How's that working out for you? Any electronic problems or other problems?

Cole

It is the one 3Zero3 had build for me. It does not conflict with the electronics at all.

The big problem at this point is that the combination of the power and the TC will burn through first so fast (without a launch) that it hits the redline before the shift can occur and tosses it into limp mode. I have started trying to short shift it in TIP mode from 1-2 (so hitting the button about 5500-6000rpm). It will makd the shift then. A couple of times it has shifted hard enough to spin the tires again.

Two wheels (right wheels) in the dirt, took off and it took off straight. I got them to spin a tiny bit flooring it and turning when the road was wet and it was raining lol, but that's about it.

by holding the brake reving it until the brake pedal goes all the way down, turning esp off and power braking it full boost yes I can spin them on dry pavement

That quick jump to redline in first definitely keeps you payin' attention!!! That definitely has me nervous and really scared the crap out of me the other night when the TBB popped off at the same moment as my 1-2 "upshift"!! I'm really trying to hit the button before 6,000 rpms now as well.

i can now do this while brakeboosting. i just figured that out after being at the track so many times and just trying it on the street.

3rd that (sorry Frimmel!)...not sure how you guys are categorizing limp mode in this sense though..i just notice serious throttle cut, and i'm SOL for about a second or two...i can then hop on it in 2nd again.

Transmission limp mode. You hear a massive THUD and then the trans is locked into 3rd gear. (won't shift at all). Have to restart the car to clear the code.
