I've heard a lot of people mention lately that the A5/S5 reminds them of a certain vehicle. Here is what the the S5 reminds me of.
If you guys think that I have totally lost it, shoot me in the ass, put me on the short bus and tell everyone that you found the "one that flew over the cuckoo's nest".

Woah, is that a Bentley? Strictly from profile, I think the A/S5 looks better. The dividing line makes a bit more sense on the Bently (if it is that) though. I actually thought it was the Maserati, but heck, that thing is just beautiful through and through (I'd never buy one though, even IF I could afford it).

Thanks for the assist. I was actually trying to see if you guys also thought that the Bentley and the A5/S5 had some sort of resemblence as I thought.

Hey, there's a Domani Motors in Florida as well. Hmm.
The Bentley is much more bulky and bubbly looking.
The A5 is more sleek, lowslung, and sexy.

I think it looks more like a 6 series.

The Bentley or the A/S5? I think the horrid back-end of the 6-series disqualifies it from looking like anything but a Solara.

I can see how you think they look alike. Bentley GT is a bulkier A5/S5 in a way....

I agree. I can see where how people think that the A5/S5 resembles the 6 series, but I'll take the S5 anyday of the week and twice on Sunday's.

I'll admit im not a fan of audi's design direction with the huge front grills, but just like Chris Bangle's debauchery with newer BMWs, the designs grow on me.
But from what i've seen of the A5 it looks like the front and grill are even more boxy and squared up than the other new audi's. if audi is going after the big heavy luxury look, a la bently, mission accomplished. but an S5 drivetrain deserves a much prettier and sportier face.

Myfavorite car hands down is the bently gt. Only from a side profile i can understand what you are saying but when u see that car in your reaview it just makes you tingle. Out here in nyc they are a dime a dozen.

You're right, they are. I just wish that the S5 had a roof that actually opens so that you could get that "open-air" feel.

Now that you mentioned the Bentley, I could see the resemblance. Now trade the Bentley headlights for Hyundai Elantra headlights.
