This Audi is for sale at a dealer in my town...BORDERLINE RICE

Its a 1996 2.8 Quattro MT with 111,xxx miles... the price on the window is 8500, he said he would take 7900... The car is a total POS... I test drive it, it has no power and ran soooo rough. The rims are hiddious... LUCKLY the center caps (that look like spikes) come off and you can replace them with normal round caps... (THERE is hope for this A4). I just took it for a spin, because Im an Audi Nut, and I LOVE the rare burnt orange colour. I was going to buy it for the 7900 take all the mods off (HR suspension, body kit, etc) because my car is bone stock, with the exception of the Kamei grille, eyelids, and brola exhaust) and I was going to sell the car when I was done, but its just such a POS, and runs horrible... defonitly borderline Rice.... I don't see anything borderline there. I think it sucks. Certainly not worth the money to de-mod it and mod it the way you'd want to.

If it had nice rims and no fake piece on the front chin it would look much better. I'd also put back the stock bumper inserts, not have them painted.

Yah supfast, its a 96 with 111K.... not worth it, he probably picked it up at auction for 2500-3000, and he wont take a penny less than 7900, goes to show you the nasty markups.
Ripplechip- I agree, like i said the inserts in the rims that look fake are changable... and the black inserts would look much better.!

I'm not a chrome fan on our cars. And I think that body kit is basically fugly.

And that looks like a 4x4 suspension.

Besides the color, if you change the front spoiler, rims and lower it more, it looks like some of the cars here in Audizine.

Defiantly not my taste but it's not that ugly. I've seen much worse. Only needs a front spoiler, lowered more and rims. Well that covers only the cosmetics part of it.

I have a good idea.... print out these post and show it to the dealer. Probably knock off another $3000 [:D]
