are you the original builder or the second owner? i remember seeing a article on this car a while back and it was forsale for something like $200,000

Yeah, RHD, I am from the UK ...

That was a different car, think he was from Eastern Europe and had a modified S4 engine as opposed to RS4 engine... he has carbon fiber body panels for reduced weight if I remember correctly ...

I have had all the work done to this car ...

Cheers :), yes it has taken a lot of time and effort ... but I am very pleased with the end result! Just hope these KO4/RS6 hybrids put another smile on my face!

Here (http://www.rs4.im/cars/RS4/Pictures/RS4_B5_Saloon/Set02/) are the only interior shots I have at the moment.

Plus here (http://www.typesure.com/cars/RS4/AudiDriverArticle/) is an article a UK magazine called Audi Driver did on my car last year ...

holy hannah! i hope you are aware that this is a dream-machine for many of us here on the boards.

also, are you just from the Isle of Man, or do you own and drive this car on the Isle?

watever the case, lucky you. kudos and cheerio mate!

PS- you need some brushed aluminum sideview mirrors on this puppy. matches the grill trim perfectly.
but if you want to be even more original and motorsportsy... go black trim and black sideview mirrors. too sexy either way.

Its a dream machine for me as well!! Its been built up over many years, had it for 5 years now. Whenever I think what I would replace it with, I can't think of anything! I mean, what else you can pootle down to the shops in, but also race, and beat, big bikes with???? [:D]

I am originaly from Scotland but live out on the Isle of Man now, of course, it was nothing to do with the lack of speed limits that brought me here!!! [:p]

I love it but why did you go for a FMIC rather then SMIC's when you were trying to make it like a RS4?

viperbl
04-23-2007, 01:01 PM
Here are some runs with with the new FMIC :)

Isle of Man HillClimb (http://www.rs4.im/cars/RS4/Videos/hillclimb/2007/)

@Iceman, some of pictures are before I had the FMIC, when I had the RS4 intercoolers
@rotaryracer, More power with the larger FMIC, and price was good so went that route... I was trying to make it look like an RS4 with the body word but not that bothered about make it exact or anything ... power comes first! lol
