i am not surprised at all. the r8 is based on the lambo correct? Well if you look on wreckedexotics.com all the lambos catch on fire before the owner gets a chance to crash it....

R8 is not based on a lambo. Not even the same engine. Only engine available now in an R8 is the 4.2 FSI V8, RS4 engine. Chasis is definitely different.

oh, well the vag group still needs to work out some heating issues it seems, even if it is a different car than the lambo.

then they are just testing it because we wont even see a 10cyl version until the second model year of the car and we arent even in its first year yet!
