Attending Hot Import Nights in Boston on 28th....

Hey guys i'm planning on attending HIN in Boston this year and was wonderin if anyone else has gone before and actually entered their cars. I'm pretty confident with putting my car in even if i don't win anything. I was wondering if any of you have any tips for me. I detail professionally so i will be cleaning my car over and over to keep it in top shape until the show....Any other suggestions or tips???? Anyone else going from the Putnam, Westchester, or Dutchess counties that would like to ride up with us (in your own car)????

i'll be there, but i live 5 mins away. i dont think im putting the S in but i'll be sure to stop and say hi. i'd say to get the attention of that crowd all you need is a nice set of wheels. gl though and see u there... i might even man up and put my car in after all.

its like one of the biggest national car shows for car enthusiasts. Theres all kinds of cars that attend and also bikes and trucks. Theres gotta be more people goin. Come on guys. We can role deep with S4s even if you guys aren't entering yours

There is a huge ass ricer crowd there so, be prepared to see fartcan cars burning out all over the place... and oh yeah... two state police stations right next to the expo it is going to be at... so take it easy coming off the highway... lol.. ill probably be there... i always end up going ... my friends car club is there...

are you entering along with any friends or just solo?? id be interested if we could get like 3 or 4 guys to do it and have an s4 section.. they usually just stick the s4's in corners there because not enough sign up... =/

im thinkin about going up now, but my bumper has been recently scraped and cracked, so im not entering if i do go up..... ill whoop your ass all the way up tho diego [:p] haha

Since Ive done the Chicago shows every year here are some tips:
1) Clean car and interior (doesn't have to be perfect as by the end of the night you will have 1000 fingerprints on it)
2) Have a mod list handy for judging as they will ask you what you have done and 99% of the time you will forget something
3) If you want a trophy you need every aspect covered (you'll be in 4dr mild from your mods) : ICE, Engine mods, suspension, brakes, body mods.

Movin to ChatterBox ... also, you might want to post this in the NE forum if you haven't already. HIN is quite fun, I went a few years back in my VR-4 and won some awards ... I can't go this year, but it's definately a good time.
