I have friends in other dealerships, but being new to this scene I don't really know anyone. Are there are dealerships as board sponsors, or does anyone know of a person at a dealership parts counter? Not looking for free parts, just seeing what I can find. thanks in advance.
Make friends with your local dealer is my advice.
I can get OEM parts for way cheaper than the dealership can (but I don't have access to all parts) and I let the guy at the parts counter know it.
Also, I told him the other dealers in the area have lower prices (flywheel bolts there are $4.20 and at the other dealer they were like $2.67).
After that, he asks me what I can get it for or how much it is at the other dealer and does his best to price match. It's a great service and now I go to him first even if I pay a dollar more.
