That was the easiest job [:D] You can crab it above the ashtrey to pull it out/off.

in my MY2000 Tip, I only have to pull it directly up to get ou the shifter plate, you sure you have to remove the centor consoles to get just the plate?

Did you paint the wood trims or did you take other trims ?
I would never paint the wood trims. Alot of people are pretty keen on wood dash.

Had to paint mine. Hate it from the minute I bought this car. And, believe or not, the dealer here could not tell me prices for a new trim. It's a portugal thing...

Will have pics as soon as possible. My Canon d30 is with my sister.

If there's one thing I like is Audi badges. I removed the outsides ones to have a clean car of course.

And now I'm thinking of putting an RS simbol on the black trim just over the glove box area. I really like the contrast of shiny black, audi red and chrome lettering.
