Hey, bro- I am pretty new to AZ and prob joined right after you got into this horrible accident. I am a volunteer Fire Fighter and have pulled many people from wrecks like this, and have been in a roll-over myself- I know first hand what you went through and it is awesome that you are ok. So glad you are doing well- all the best.

Can't believe you "walked" away from that. Glad to hear you're OK.

Just confirms my reason for buying my wife the Avant for her and our soon to be arriving son.

It's amazing how well the passenger compartment held up.

P.s. Lovin the Lincoln too, that's a sweet ride.

heymya4...that was actually my good friends baby on the way...but thank you so much for your concerns...

thanks again guys...glad you all approve...[up] it really is somehting else...
like ive said...ive ben wanting this car since way before i even could get my license...
its been an ongoing hunt the last year tho, and then after the accident, it got real...
i found one in great shape, but needing some work...u think audis have querks...[rolleyes]
its not as flawless as the black turns out in pics, tho im kinda into the grimey, original look...
have a few more things like door panels, elecrical, stereo, carpeting, and itll be golden...

i feels good to drive around...under the speed limit at all times...

Glad you're OK even though your Audi isn't. I loved that car of yours. Well, it looks like you've cheated death, and cheated death out of his car, too.
That Lincoln is one BAMF. There was a post in the GCC forum about what car Death would drive.
We have a winner. Sweet car, man. That thing turns heads, I'm sure.

thanks guy...i miss it alot...i miss haveing it and lurking AZ constantly...(i still do a bit...but its just not the same)
u can catch me over at http://www.thelincolnforum.net
cool guys, but a completely different place, a totally diff. world...
the whole thing was a great experience...and im a locked in audi guy as the result...

as for the linc...its a 65' and yes is the same car as in matrix...tho mine is a vinyl hard top...a VERY rare feature, as starting in 65, it was an option, one very few opted for...65 or newer for that matter
65 is also the first year front disc brakes were included, mine being amazing 4 piston calipers...airride wont happen...itll be $3-5k mod, and as a daily driver its not feasable/realistic...
im driving alot less, makes less stupid runs to the store or back and fourth for no reason...im slowing it down, keeping it in the slow lane, and man, its never been such a great feeling...
and yes...the thing gets looks...i mean not to toot my own horn, but my audi was a beut, but ive never been in a car that literally every person who drives by just stares if not a jaw drop...thumbs up, whistles, you name it...its unreal
gas station fill up, or parking lot entrances become 10-15 minutes conversations, and the "willing to buy, cash in hand" notes on the windshield have started to collect...
the cars are fairly rare...you can find them, but not like this one...nto this year, this color...this look
in IMHO 65' was the best year of the 61-69' run of the LCC...and im not a convert. fan either...
black is the only color this car deserves to be in, and with the top, the drop, and tires i have...and the interior...its really a dream come true...

thanks again, and keep in touch...ill be around, and if you dont mind, ill keep u updated on any mods/restorations i continue with...you know more...its never over...[:D]
