Got quoted 987 for painted lowers-

The shop is a high quality place and he said they would take the lowers off sand prime sand and prime. Than he would put some weird PPG stuff that is like armor protectant or something like that since it was the front.Is this too much or should I go somewhere else and get an estimate and try to see if they could price match it? thanks

Seems quite pricey. I would definitely get some more quotes from other shops. It couldn't hurt.

Hell, for $987 you could ship them to me in Florida, I'll get them painted locally, ship them back to you, and I still make a profit.

JK...$987 is way too high.

By the way, has anyone ever tried a DIY for painted lowers. I'm sure you could find the OEM match paint color.

Way too expensive... I had my sportec bumper installed and the lowers painted for 700.
