Hey, I was planning on placing an order for a vanity plate in NJ and I had a couple of ideas, wanted to see what you guys thought...All opinions and suggestions are welcome, Thanks in advance..(I own a B5 S4)

IMHO, if ur gonna do a vanity plate, do something original, funny, and/or related to u and ur interests. i contemplated doing a plate like the ones u suggested for so long, but in the end, i didnt want something that only a hardcore audi-phile would only comprehend.

Isnt that somewhat of the point to having a vanity plate - maybe it means something only you understand...

For my M3 i've had Heiss M3 = in german Heiss is Hot, I had several people pick up on that at stoplights and such, it was cool...then others weren't sure what it meant. I mean hell a vanity plate does just that - attract attention, so dont you want others asking about it? [;)]

I feel vanity plates are pretty stupid and just attract unwanted attention.
That being said, some of the ones around my home town are just hilarious for the combination of what they say and what car they're on. Lot's of plates advertising speed on huge suv's or otherwise slow ass cars.
That being said any cars I've seen around here obviously driven by an enthusiast just have regular tags with the vanity plates displayed by all the posers.

Though I really like the 0's and 8's idea. It would be really cool to figure out a plate combo in the font and plate design that the state uses which is very hard to read. Sort of like the anti-vanity plate.
