Just purchased the Gilmour foam gun and am wondering what solution / ratio I should use. TIA.

I'm not sure maybe VROOM VROOM or Grouse will know but can't you just do 1 to 10... 1 part car wash 10 part water?

4 oz of car soap, into 28oz of water. I then run the gilmour gun at lowest setting.
I tend to use Chemical Guys Super Suds II

I've only used mine a coupla' times. I did a 4:1 ratio of water & Poorboy's shampoo (the only bottle I currently have open). It was definitely a bit sudsy, so a more dilute ratio definitely makes sense.
This is really a neat tool, by the way. I was a bit skeptical at first (well, maybe not skeptical...just lazy) but now really do see the value.

Used the foam gun for the first time today. Tried some Eagle One car wash solution I had leftover, as well as some gold class. Followed Grouse's recommendation of 4 oz to 28oz, and ran the gun at the 2nd lowest setting. It foamed up very well, but the soap solution didn't seem to do much for bringing the dirt off the surface. The surface was polished and sealed 2 weeks ago and this was the first wash. Have you guys been noticing dirt-loosening effects with the poorboys / CG super suds wash?
I definetely liked how I could run my mitt with a stream of foam between the mitt and the paint. Also kept the amount of dirt my microfiber mitt picked up pretty low.

I just tried the Meq Gold Class in my foam gun, and it was pretty good. I just put 3oz of the soap in the vial and went to town. It was nice and sudsy. I figure since the gold class is cheap i don't care if i waste some. It did a good job. the product i used prior didn't work well in the foam gun. I am not sure what setting i was on though.
