I [was] in the market for a b6 a4 but with the new generation coming out in 8 months or so I think I'll wait, save and buy one of those.
When do you think I can put a deposit down?

I've always bought used... Is a grand enough? Also, I get a coporate discount of 6 percent. Will that affect anything?

Its possible to put a deposit down on an 08 now?!?
Are we talking about the B7 or the new B8 that is scheduled to be shown at Geneva later this year?

Keep your money. [confused] There's not even a picture available of it yet, it's pretty optomistic to think that the B8 will be out in 8 months.
It'll likely be available in Europe in mid 2008, and I'm guesing it'll arrive in North America in 2009, almost a year later as with previous Audi models. Jst a guess though.

you can always put a deposit down, they just put you on a list.....we already have a guy who put a deposit on the Mercedes-Benz Ocean Drive (the 4 door convertable) just so he is the list

I've taken highway exits that my audi can do at 50mph before losing grip at nearly 105mph in my elise. ITs a sick car, but I have the track setup so can't really do daily driving. Better on the track then my 997.
I am however going to race my buddies 2000 vette, i'll post the vids.

think this would be "hijacking," but...I love that Lotus. My only hang-up was the size...and with 3 boys, I couldn't enjoy it with all of them at once. Nice car though...bad ass

Why don't you go to the dealer and ask (or at least call)? It doesn't matter what we say or have done, it'll come down to them anyways.

Any interior shots?
Those are still artist renderings of what it may look like, and are likely way off like they were with the new TT.

the second and third pic should be the real deal... btw, you shouldn´t buy the B8 when it comes out, it´ll have a SHITLOAD of bugs, and you don´t want that, belive me....

I wish. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but that's likely the one that's most off from the real thing as it's been around the longest. It's jut Audi styling mixed with the lines of the new Benz CL, and Nuvolari styling mixed in.
Seriously, would you marry a girl based on what an artist's photoshop rendering of what she might look like based on what a couple of her relatives look like [:D]

Warranty FTW. I know that I'll probably have to take it in several times but I think it'll be worth it for me to drive a new generation car with a free warranty and 6% off because of the corporate discount than a used b6 with a $2000+ warranty and no discount.
