Bose tone presets on '06 A4

Hi Folks,

My apologies in advance if my search attempts failed to prove that this has already been answered.

I've read some way-cool tutorials on how to adjust the tone presets on Bose decks. Unfortunately, I haven't found how to accomplish this on my deck. I believe I have the RNS-E unit - the car is an '06 A4 with the navigation unit and "MME-look." (Audi's quote from the marketing materials they sent me after I purchased the car.)

Thanks in advance for any information on this. I'd love to add some bass and dump some lower mids.

All you have is Bass and Treble controls. You'll find them under Settings.

Your only option is to adjust the sound characteristics to one form another Audi model, using VAG-COM. The secret EQ doesn't exist anymore in recent Audi head units.
