OK, I just took delivery of my Q7 last week, and already looking to upgrade the wheels. Mine was delivered with the 4.2 18in wheels, but I've really been interested in either the Audi 20in or something like that found on the Q7 S-Line (14-Spoke). Any ideas where to find these? It seems every wheel site out there has wheels for Cayennes and Touaregs (even OEM or Replica), but not much for the Q7. Nothing on Tirerack or Tires.com is all that interesting.

Any good places to look?

Thanks...

Is 20" the largest you are considering?

And I'd imagine the Touareg and Cayenne uses the same wheel offset, no?

Yes, don't want anything larger than 20s. The Cayenne, Touareg and Q7 all use 5x130 with similar offsets. Wheels are interchangeable between all of them.

From what I have read, if the car came with the 18s, then 19 is the largest you can run. Only Q7s equipped with the factory 20s can go bigger than 20". There has been a lot of talk about this on other forums. Has something to do with the suspension. I'll look around for the info and post back.

Have you checked with GMG, Creative or Velocity? They seem to have a lot of wheel options. I would also check with CEC and Tire Rack.

I heard the same. I think I remeber that the 20" stick outside of the wheels wells. Only vehicles that come equipped with the 20's are built for it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

ok accoring to Audi if your vehicle came with 18" wheels and you install factory 19" or 20" wheels you will rub the tires on the body

remember this is assuming factory tire sizes and wheel offsets

there is a change to the steering rack on the vehicles with 19" and 20" wheels so they do not rub

hope this helps

For clarification: You can install wheels over 20" on cars original equiped with wheels up to 18". However a steering limiter has to be installed. Its a n Audi Part Number. After that your fine.

this is true if the vehicle came with the 18" you will need to use spacers to be able to fit anything larger than 19"

Why would u just go for OEM wheels? Why not something cool?
