Ok, so I have hinted at these simple questions in a couple other threads, but they havent really been answered. Im kind of a newb when it comes to brakes... so Im going to speak as if we are all total idiots. [;)]
I have an '02 3.0Q...
I'm planning to upgrade my fronts brakes to B5S4 Calipers and add new CD/Slotted Rotors. etc., and also change the rotors in the rear (but keep the stock caliper setup for now).
For the front... Do I need B5S4 Rotors as well as the calipers, or will the S4 calipers fit the 3.0's rotors? I know I obviously need S4 brake pads... :)
For the rear... No problem here, Im going with CD/Slotted to match the front along with new pads. (Main concern is if the front rotors will be 3.0 or S4 ones.)
Im going to go ahead and let you know that I assume I do need to order S4 Rotors for the front... but the main reason I am asking is simply because I found a killer deal on a set of 4 3.0 Rotors and would love to get them if they will work with my B5S4 calipers.
Also, will the 3.0 carriers work with the S4 Calipers?
