We here at Audizine are excited to be kicking off our very first
Featured AZ'er with one very hot Avant. Hailing out of Belgium, Kristof
(AKA: TDI) has been a loyal and dedicated member of Audizine going one
year now, and in that time has made quite an impact on us all of us
with his very clean 2007 A4.
Sitting low on FK coils and a set of staggered 19 inch Schmidt
CC-lines, this 1.9 TDI is quite unique, especially to us enthusiasts in
the States. Other more subtle modifications include a black S-line
headliner, RS 4 pedals and handbrake, S4 doorblades, and an S4 rear
valence showing off quad tips from a custom made exhaust.
Big thanks to Kristof for getting us a ton of amazing photos of
his A4, and for taking the time to answer the following questions that
we shot his way in regards to the progress of his vehicle, where it's
going, and what's helped inspire his passion over the years.

Q (Audizine): So how long have you owned this vehicle?
A (TDI): Bought him in March of 2007.
Q: How has your ownership been with this vehicle overall?
A: Excellent, love Audi!
Q: Think you'll be getting another one anytime soon?
A: After 4 years I'm gonna sell him.
Q: What do you most love about the car?
A: Lowering and rims.
Q: What's your biggest peeve in regards to the car, the one thing you dislike the most?
A: That the hand brake handle always hits the armrest when you pull him up, it sucks!
Q: Can you explain your modding style? Do you prefer more go, more show, perhaps a combo of both?
A: Clean & mobster style.
Q: Do you prefer to do the work yourself, or do you have a shop or specific person perform the work?
A: Everything I can do, I will do, but when I'm afraid of breaking something I call some friends.
Q: Which mod are you the most proud of or happy with?
A: The rims, they are expensive, but soooooooooo nice!!! Because they are expensive you don't see them on every corner off the street.
Q: How long have you been into Audis and in the European tuning scene? Or is this the car that got you into it?
A: No, before I had a B6, it started with him. 4 years now.
Q: How long have you been into cars in general, as an enthusiast?
A: Since I was 15 years old (am 23 now) so 8 years.
Q: Where do you think that passion and enthusiasm comes from, can it be traced back to anyone or anything?
A: Mmm, difficult question....In my family there isn't a real car freak, I guess it's cause of some friends who were older than I. I went with them to some meetings and I was sold on cars!!!!
Q: What brought you to Audizine, and how long have you been with us?
A: Searching on Google for some nice Audi forums, saw Audizine and it felt like I was home. Been on AZ since November 2006.
Q: What would be in your ultimate garage, if you could have any two vehicles?
A: Audi RS4 and Audi R8.
Q: What do your friends and family think about your passion for Audis?
A: That I'm a fool for wasting so much money on a stupid car.
Q: How does your love for cars and Audis affect your life, does it play a pretty big part?
A: Yeah it does, I can't stand that my Avant is dirty, so sometimes I put other stuff aside to clean him, or go shopping for parts, surfing the Net until the middle of the night. I cant stop until I find the stuff that i want, Sometimes I can't sleep cause I'm constantly thinking of what I'm gonna do and how I'm gonna do it. You can call me crazy.
Q: Describe your fondest memory of owning, modifying, or driving this vehicle.
A: The first time I saw the B7 it was like dammmmmmmm! Gotta have him! So I sold the B6, and the moment I ordered him with my dealer I already knew how I was going to modify him. It's great when I look at him know, cause he's exact how I wanted him to be!
Q: When you're not on Audizine, or out playing with the Audi, what do like to you do for fun?
A: Driving my Yamaha R1 or spending time with my girlfriend.
Q: Have an interesting day job? Care to talk a little bit about it?
A: I'm a cook, I have my own restaurant for 1.5 year now and it askes a lot off time. But, it was always my dream of having my own business, and I like it.
Q: Any word of advice for your fellow enthusiasts, a bit of wisdom you'd like to impart on the masses?
A: Never give up your dreams, he who can be patient can have whatever he wants!!!!
Q: Do you have anyone you'd like to thank, any shout-outs?
A: My girlfriend Kenza, cause she's always there to support me in anything that I do or wanna do. Wanna also thank all the guys from AZ for the offered help. And to
www.h-society.be and
www.cleaned.be. Both are great Belgium forums!
