The exhaust system, I made. Its 3” downpipe to some mufflers then to another muffler, its not pretty at the moment but its a whole lot quieter than 3” straight pipe I had on the car. You can hear the fuel pumps over it, before you couldn’t.

Car sits on Koesi TS K1 Wheels with Koni Coil Overs - needs tires

The Interior is clean, the original Headliner sagged from sitting in Flordia Heat. I recovered it but its not 100%. It looks good but its less than ideal. Needs rear hatch interior trim. Everything inside is in very good condition.

I have been tuning the car myself using the tools that are out there, its currently only running at 10-12psi (wastegate).

I am going to be honest here, it needs some work. The previous owner felt it was a valuable exercise to take a jack handle to the body of the car (all over). While I am not a body man, I started pulling the dents and smoothing out the surface. The car could use a body man to sand it down and smooth it out to make it perfect. It looks ok from a distance but its clear once you get close its had a rough life. I have had a few friends look at it that are body guys and they say 3-4K for it to look like it should. Mechanically this car is sound, I have done all the mechanical to this car, I just don't have the touch for bodywork.

Knowing the body condition of this car I am pricing it at $7000 figuring someone willing to invest 3-4K in the body still has a car that is $5000 under blue book value. The engine parts alone are worth over the asking price, so all things considered this could be a great pickup if you know someone that does body work or can do it your self. I have considered vynil wrapping the whole car but that seems the less ideal route for me to go. I would just like to part ways with the project so I can get something more family oriented.

Should the buyer be interested included with the car is another 06A block and a TDI crankshaft as I was planning to build the car to 2.1L. I am also willing to provide a UNI tune on the car if the buyer doesn’t want to deal with tuning the car themselves. There will be some minor cost changes if the UNI tune is desired as I will have to soruce an ECU and get it flashed. But I can get that done at dealer cost for the tune.
