Looking to unload my 2000 VW Golf TDi 2 door hatchback, 5 Speed. It has 284,XXX miles and runs and drives like a champ. Averages over 50mpg consistently. Im simply looking to get rid of it since I now have a company vehicle and would like to get rid of some debt.
In the last 3k miles I have done the following:
*Malone Stage 1 flash with EGR delete
*New air, oil, fuel and cabin filter
*New stock suspension (will throw in a set of Wietech springs/struts that lower 1.3 inches for an extra $100)
*Brand new EGR valve since the old was all clogged up
*New Hankook Optimo front tires, rears at 50%
*Timing belt has about 22K miles on it.
*Diesel purge
Other than the Malone flash it is completely stock. Its been great, starts fine, drives great. I believe it has a Monsoon stereo as it has 8 speakers and a 6 disc changer in the back. No Moonroof, roll up windows. Car runs clean and burns no oil.
The bad: Full Disclosure
*Needs rear axle bushings (will include brand new OEM Audi TT bushings, nice upgrade)
*Rust at the usual front fender spots, both sides. I have bondo'd and spray painted them and it doesnt look terrible, used Silver fenders can be found at junkyards for around$75-$125.
*Small surface rust about 2 inches long on the bottom of the rear hatch. Probably could be sanded and repainted, still structurally stong.
*A/C is not working, A/C clutch looks rusted and is probably locked up.
*Radio faceplate is cracked but works just fine.
*Usual scratches and tiny dings for a 285K mile car.
I only have one pictures as of right now and will be getting more either today or tomorrow. Price is $3500 FIRM. Not in a rush to sell. Email is aDOTgoinsalvosDOTcom, or PM me for my cell number. This is a pic of when I first got it with the rust still present on the fender.
