Up for sale is a 2001.5 Audi S4 base sedan in silver with v6 twin turbo, 6mt, leather, power everything, and 79K (and slowly increasing, I only commute 6 miles R/T to work each day). I bought the car over three years ago, I love it and its in fantastic condition. Reason for selling is that I got married last year and with a growing family I need more room. It's been a great car and for this reason I will be looking to replace it with an Avant.
I am the second owner and I have all of the records for work done on the car from the previous owner and myself. I have taken meticulous care of it and upgraded and driven the car very carefully. You will be very very hard pressed to find another this clean.
Since I have owned it I have performed the following:
~Timing belt change and all other bits and pieces associated with this @ 60K
~Front left CV joint replaced @ 60K
~Control arms replaced @ 60K
~Valve cover and cam seal gaskets replaced @ 60K
~Had one of the sparkplugs back out of the cylinder head @ 75K. I had RavenMotorsports re-thread the one sparkplug in the driver side cylinder head. They also replaced the sparkplugs. RMS said its in great shape and ready for another 70K plus miles.
~Installed a better Passat central locking pump (locks the doors) @ 70K
~I had the original gauge cluster rebuilt so no bad pixels, common issue with B5 S4s
~Replaced some of the sensors (coolant, etc.).
Service in the last 2,000 miles
~Oil changed every 3K using Mobil1
~New front StopTech brake pads ($130)
~New Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor ($150)
~New Bosch Alternator ($700)
~New Bosch Battery ($125)
Previous Owner also replaced some of the window motors (can't remember which ones but all work fine now).
Upgrades include:
~GIAC Tune installed @ 65K
~Greddy catback exhaust (sounds is a little grumbly but definately on the mild side without being too loud) installed @ 60K
~Stasis Tracksport coilovers (bought these used and rebuilt them before install @ 70K
~Boost gauge in center vent
~Cross drilled front rotors
~Carbon fiber look/wrap of the maple wood interior done meticulously by myself. I taped all of the pieces before wrapping so if you wanted to remove it you could.
~Tint
~HID 3,000K (yellow) fog lights
~Ipod adapter both plays and charges your Ipod
Other details and any future work needed:
The paint is in great shape with no major blemishes. There is a small ding near the front grill on the hood and a few knicks on the bumper from parking. The interior is black leather with normal wear but no major tears or anything and carpet still looks great. The car was smogged this past July and passed with no issues. The car runs great and still has the original K03s (which I always properly warm up and cool down when I drive it). No noises from the car/turbos at all aside from an occassional squeak from the steering rack at full lock (i've been told this is normal for the B5 by a few different shops and so never bothered to fix it). The car will need tires within the next 2,000 miles or so.
Car is located in West Los Angeles. If you have any questions please let me know. Asking $11K OBO.
